The Thread Live with Sheryl Sandberg

June 9

7:00 pm

$35 to $75

MPR News Presents the Thread Live with Sheryl Sandberg hosted by Kerri Miller.

After the death of her husband, Dave Goldberg, Sandberg turned to mentors and friends including her co-author, Wharton professor Adam Grant, to help her process the grief she and her young children were feeling. Her new book is a result of what she learned about recovering from loss and the science behind resilience. Kerri and Sandberg will discuss Sandberg’s journey and how she believes “We are not born with a fixed amount of resilience. It is a muscle that everyone can build.”

Sheryl Sandberg is the author of “Lean In” and the founder of the Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that works to build a more equal and resilient world through two key initiatives, LeanIn.Org and OptionB.Org, which launches in April 2017. She is also chief operating officer at Facebook.

Tickets include a copy of Option B, presigned by author Sheryl Sandberg.
