Minnesota Public Radio & the Minnesota Historical Society present The War That Changed Us: Songs and Stories from WW1 America.

Host Dan Chouinard is joined by storyteller Kevin Kling, a diverse and distinguished group of guest speakers and an all-star ensemble of musicians:

Vocalists Arne Fogel, Jennifer Grimm, Maria Jette, Andre Shoals and The River City Quartet
A nine-piece band featuring Butch Thompson, Peter Ostroushko and Dave Karr

Patricia Hampl, author and educator
Ann Bancroft, explorer and author
Dr. Michael Osterholm, epidemiologist
Dr. Saje Mathieu, professor of African-American studies
Chris Capozzola, author and professor of history
Laura Vogt, Education Curator of National WWI Museum and Memorial, Kansas City
Dr. Annette Atkins, author and professor of history

A co-production of Minnesota Public Radio & the Minnesota Historical Society in conjunction with the MNHS WW1 America exhibit and the centennial anniversary of America entering the first World War.

The show will be will be recorded and edited by Stephen Smith for two episodes of MPR News Presents to air later, TBD.
